Let it loop.

Prism Tide Free gives your next screen a sculptural focal point. Pick a shape, pick a frame, then let the light do its thing.

1. Start with the ready-made videos

Unzip the entire folder. Open index.html in a current browser to preview the pack offline. Choose a scene, switch orientation and press Play loop. The speed slider changes the preview only.

For your project, use the actual MP4 from videos/. You can import it into a video editor, a presentation app or a website video block. You can also open it directly in a standard video player. The PNG in stills/ is a matching first-frame poster.

Ribbon currentribbon-landscape.mp4ribbon-portrait.mp4
Layer driftrefraction-landscape.mp4refraction-portrait.mp4
Aperture studyiris-landscape.mp4iris-portrait.mp4

Landscape: 1280 × 720, 16:9. Portrait: 720 × 1280, 9:16. Every file is a six-second, 24 fps H.264 MP4 with 144 frames. All clips are silent and have an opaque dark background. These files contain rendered animation, not editable 3D model files or transparent video.

2. Put it on a website

  1. Upload the MP4 to your website's video block. In Framer, use a Video component and choose the file.
  2. Turn on looping. Turn on muted playback if you want autoplay. Browser and device settings may still require a tap to start.
  3. Use the matching PNG as the poster. This gives visitors a complete scene before the video loads.
  4. Choose Contain to keep the full sculpture. Cover fills the area but may crop the frame.
  5. If motion sits behind text, keep your heading outside the moving silhouette and check contrast. Add a visible pause control. A still poster is a good fallback for reduced-motion visitors.

3. Use it in a social post or presentation

Start with the portrait file for stories, reels or vertical posts. Use the landscape file for slides and wide videos. Add your own title, logo or message in your editing app. Duplicate the clip on the timeline to extend it. The animation completes one cycle every six seconds.

Changing playback speed in a video editor changes the loop duration. At 50% speed, one cycle takes twelve seconds. At 200%, it takes three seconds. If the export changes frame rate, inspect the join before posting.

4. Optional: render your own colors or timing

The ready-made pack works without code. For advanced edits, source/PrismRenderer.cs contains Wuren's original geometry, lighting and software renderer. The optional Windows helper compiles that source using the existing .NET Framework compiler and sends frames to an FFmpeg executable you provide.

FFmpeg is a separate tool and is not included in this pack. You do not need it to use any of the six MP4s. The optional source workflow is for Windows; it is not a browser-based color editor.

  1. Place your existing FFmpeg executable somewhere on your computer.
  2. Open Command Prompt in the unzipped product folder.
  3. Run the helper with a quoted FFmpeg path, output folder, seconds and frame rate. The last arguments are two six-digit hex colors, scene and orientation.
source\Render-Windows.cmd "C:\Tools\ffmpeg.exe" "my-renders" 6 24 F77D63 73BDF5 all all

For one slower, custom-colored portrait:

source\Render-Windows.cmd "C:\Tools\ffmpeg.exe" "my-renders" 10 24 C081F4 8DE8D0 ribbon portrait

Scenes: ribbon, refraction, iris or all. Orientations: landscape, portrait or all. Colors are accent, then reflected light. Duration controls the speed of a complete loop. One scene can take several minutes to render on a CPU. The helper writes only to the output folder you specify.

If the helper reports that the .NET Framework compiler is unavailable, you can keep using the included MP4s or compile the source in an existing compatible C# environment. This pack does not install software or download dependencies.

5. What the license lets you do

Use and adapt the videos and stills in multiple completed personal or client projects, including commercial websites, social campaigns and presentations. Attribution is optional. Keep these assets inside your finished design rather than reselling or redistributing the files as another asset pack. The complete terms are in LICENSE.txt.

6. If something looks off

For access or reproducible file defects, use the Wuren Studio support route shown on the download page or order receipt. Include the file name, app and steps that reproduce it. This is a self-serve asset pack; custom rendering, design changes and one-to-one lessons are outside its scope.

Original procedural geometry and artwork by Wuren Studio, 2026. The pack uses its own mesh equations, lighting and compositions. No third-party models, textures, logos or stock footage are included.
