# Supplier access and API routes

Original editorial diagram for A34. It is a schematic of possible routes, not the architecture of Travelgenix or any named supplier.

```
An agency interface can use a booking platform which reaches supplier content through a GDS API or a direct supplier API. Other intermediaries may also be involved. APIs describe the interfaces; GDS describes a distribution route. The content and commercial terms available through different routes need not be identical.
NDC is a data exchange standard which may be used in airline distribution. It is not shown as a competing supplier or a standalone subscription. Confirm the airlines, functions and servicing arrangements included in a proposed connection.
