A new chapter deserves a proper entrance.

Give a new issue, a collection or a small publishing project a coherent launch. Daybreak pairs oversized type with an original spiral-bound paper sculpture and translucent index leaves. Five posts, two stories and a wide cover keep the whole release speaking the same language.

Make a release your own

  1. Extract the entire ZIP. Open index.html in a current browser. Keep renderer.js beside it. The editor works offline.
  2. Choose one of five portrait posts (1080 × 1350), two stories (1080 × 1920) or the wide cover (1920 × 1080).
  3. Edit the brand, headline, short text and event or edition detail. Use Enter in the headline to choose its line breaks. Short headlines leave the artwork breathing room.
  4. Change four palette colours. Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP under 15 MB for a background photo. Choose Fill for a centered crop or Fit to keep the complete photo. The image is embedded in your export.
  5. Download SVG for further editing, or PNG for publishing. The PNG uses the layout's full original size. SVG text, colours and original artwork remain editable. System fonts can vary slightly across computers.

Preview zoom runs from 60% to 160%. Fit preview returns to 100%; zoom changes only your view, never export dimensions. Large artwork scrolls inside the preview stage. Layout buttons also support arrow keys, Home and End.

Keep the campaign together

Save browser draft keeps one edit per layout in this browser. Download finished exports for a lasting copy. Reset this layout restores only the current layout. Clear saved drafts removes browser storage while leaving current edits open.

Further edits

Open a file in sources/ in an SVG-compatible editor to change individual shapes or typography. templates.json documents the original dimensions and text. renderer.js contains the original layout and illustration source. Uploaded photos stay in your browser and exported files; this tool sends nothing to a server.

Free for the work you finish

Use and adapt the kit in multiple completed personal, commercial and client projects. Credit is optional. Keep reusable source files out of redistributed stock packs and template libraries. See LICENSE.txt for the complete terms.

If an export needs a hand

Extract first, keep the files together and try a short headline. If a large photo makes PNG export fail, try a smaller image or export SVG. If browser storage is unavailable, download your files instead. Support covers access and reproducible defects; include the layout name and the steps that reproduce the issue.
